The song was written while on a 3-month mission trip to South Africa and then developed when I returned back to the United States. The song captures the sensation of realizing how much you've changed by seeing an old picture or bumping into an old friend who has seen a transformation in you for the good. After the sensational realization comes the excitement and hope for the adventurous future.
